Resume Writing: Help, please?
Question by Emily ♥: Resume Writing: Help, please?
I am unemployed and I’ve never had a job. I’m having loads of trouble figuring out how to write a resume.
Here’s a list of my skills:
- Type Up to 70 WPM, No Errors.
- Experienced with Microsoft Word.
- Some Excel Experience.
- Reliable & Hardworking.
- Took Numerous Computer Classes.
Now, what I need help with is writing a title and objective. Any suggestions? I did not finish high school and do not have my GED. With that said and because I haven’t had any work experience, is this a bad sign to employers?
Please send to em.pressive@yahoo.com
I have actually had experience working but nothing major. I’ve babysat my aunt’s children. I was responsible for cleaning after them, cooking, and keeping them out of trouble. I have also worked at my father’s job, painting and cleaning his shop. These are both not legitimate work experience considering they are both family members, right?
Not to mention, I was paid occasionally from my aunt and the time at my father’s shop was only a two day, temporary thing.

it doesn’t matter if you know how to do all that stuff since people are looking for the ones with high school diplomia’s and/or a GED and have worked before and have experience with working ..
