Q&A: I want to work as a fashion stylist assistant but the problem is the resume?
Question by jennlala1oo4lovingcaring x3: I want to work as a fashion stylist assistant but the problem is the resume?
hi.
currently i am studying at fashion school, enrolled in fashion styling program and i want to work as a fashion stylist atssistant.
i see some of the fashion stylists want to see my resume and experienced portfolio but i do not have any.
i am a high school graduate and will be going to school this fall.
so here is my question, for my resume how should i write my education part?
i mean, writing down the high school name only seems too lacking.
so do you think i should write down my elementary , junior high school too just to fill in the space?
if you know the proper way of writing resume please let me know, i will greatly appreciate it.
and if you know how to build a portfolio for stylist and assistant let me know as well please.
(if i can use photos that i took myself can be my portfolio; professional photogragher are needed or not )
and i am thinking of becoming a fashion stylist without any degree, but i will take classes as i work.

I didn’t know that being a fashion stylist assistant required a resume.
Don’t strive to be an assistant. Go to school so you can be the best fashion stylists you can.
