I am a teen writing a resume–how do I do this with no prior professional work experience?
Question by sweeneytoddluvr: I am a teen writing a resume–how do I do this with no prior professional work experience?
I am only 15, so I don’t think it’s that uncommon that I haven’t had a job yet aside from a few babysitting jobs. However, it is required that I turn in a resume and letter of application so I can be accepted into a club/job at school. How do I do this with no job experience beforehand? Would it be a good idea to focus on my academic aheivements and other groups I’ve been in? Thank you for your answers!

I have the same thing, but im 13, and I live in nebraska! So I can only work at shopko for minimum wage! But you basically write what you are good at, some backround information, your experiance (working skills)
and any additional facts you think that they might want to know about you! A Resume is basically a persuasive letter! You have to put down what you want, but you have to make it worth there while to make it worth your while! SO get writing!!1!
