I’m applying for several jobs such as Hollister, my local library, Forever 21, and Applebees. I have heard of “functional resumes” and I was wondering if using a functional resume format would work to the best of my ability. If not, what format should I use? I’ve never had a job before and I am 16. However, I have volunteered several times.

Actually, the format of your resume does not matter. All you need to do is create effective and convincing resume. You should also think about creating cover letter. Companies are impress to see cover letter because they see your serious in getting the job their hiring. It will also help you to have good impression.
