Question by MiZJERSEii: Do you have to write a cover page for your resume?
Do you have to write a cover page for your resume? If so, how do i write one? im sorry im really new at this. Last time i had to write a resume was in high school. Im applying for a management in retail that i’ve been working for 2 years. I did the resume but not to sure about the cover page. I really need this job. Can you help?

I assume you mean a cover letter? In the first paragraph, state how you found out about the job and why you want to apply. Also use this paragraph to summarize and introduce the following paragraphs.

The middle paragraphs (about 1-2, no more than that) should explain how the skills you already have can help you in the position you’re applying for. Make sure you look at what skills are required for the position and relate your experience back to these required skills.

In the concluding paragraph summarize your skills, thank them for their consideration and state that you look forward to hearing from them.
